John Maynard is the Chief Executive Officer at Adarma. He is responsible for the sales strategy, execution and revenue growth of the company, which many of the largest FTSE 250 customers.

Before joining Adarma, he was Global Vice President for Security Specialists at Cisco, a $3bn security business with solutions spanning network, endpoint, cloud, and application security.

He is motivated by helping organisations in the information security space, and his previous roles have focused on building sales, engineering, and consulting organisations, as well as in strategy, product management, and operations.

Prior to Cisco, John was based in San Francisco for DXC Technology, where he held a dual role as Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Product Management for Cybersecurity.

He also held cybersecurity leadership positions for over 10 years at Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), including managing the APJC security business from Singapore and acquiring Vistorm in the UK&I for HPE in 2008.

Outside of Adarma, John spends his time fully occupied with his four young children, on his Peloton, running the trails in Surrey, or cheering on his favourite football team, Southampton FC.
