Scott Connarty is General Counsel and Company Secretary at Adarma. He is responsible for leading the legal, risk, and compliance functions. Originally, he trained and practiced as a corporate lawyer specialising in merger and acquisition transactions. Prior to joining Adarma, he was General Counsel for Ridgewall, a private equity-backed IT managed services provider.

While serving as General Counsel for LOC Group, a private equity-backed (Bridgepoint) global energy and shipping consultancy, he developed and led a legal function covering 36 offices in 20 countries, sat on the group board, and managed its trade sale to a competitor.

Throughout his career as General Counsel, he has gathered a wealth of diverse experience, including managing and responding to a ransomware attack, resolving significant payment diversion fraud, and overseeing international litigations and internal fraud investigations.

Outside of work, although his rugby playing days are firmly behind him, he can usually be found cheering on any of the Scottish rugby teams or on the golf course whenever he gets the opportunity.
